SdKfz 250/3

Le SdKfz 250/3 était un véhicule de commandement utilisé dans la Heer et dans la Luftwaffe. Basé, sur le semi-chenillé SdKfz 250 de Demag qui fit son apparition en juin 1941, il était armé d'une Mg 34. L'engin était motorisé par un 6 cylindres essence de 4,2l développant 100 PS pour un poids de 5t350.

The SdkFz 250/3 was a command vehicle used by Heer and Luftwaffe. Based on the Demag AG-designed SdKfz 250 half track wich was first fielded in June 1941, it was armed with a MG 34 machine gun. The vehicle was motorized by a 4.2 liters 6 cylinders Water cooled Gasoline engine developing 100 hp for a combat weight of 5.35 tons.

  Le SdKfz 250/3 a été utilisé par l'Afrika Korps. Les trois photos qui suivent montrent les modèles baptisés GREIF, ADLER et IGEL.
The SdKfz 250/3 was used by Afrika Korps. The three pictures below show vehicles christened GREIF, ADLER and IGEL. 

Le "GREIF" (Griffon) est connu pour être le véhicule de commandement de Rommel.
The GREIF (Griffin) is know to have been Rommel's command vehicle.
